Other aspects of the LOCKSHOP module are listed and linked in the left hand column.

The System Manager is your local "Person In-Charge" of administering to your KeyNETTM and associated software programs.  This person controls access and privileges for anyone using KeyNETTM and the associated software programs.  IF YOU ARE NOT A SYSTEMS MANAGER, you will not have access to any configurations and customization of KeyNET.

All questions regarding the KeyNET program, available options and access privileges  should be directed through the System Manager.  Additional information about associated items are listed and linked below.

Your Support Contract provides help and guidance for the System Manager.  Because this person controls how the program will function, only the System Manager is provided with support and information on how to change, edit or modify how the program performs, and what privileges a USER may have.

Each Module has a CONFIGURATION section which is ONLY seen by the system administrators

The CONFIGURATION for Computerized Key Machines and Stamp Machines is a Systems Administrator function, and set in the Lockshop Configuration.

The CONFIGURATION for the module looks like this:

Access Groups

Access Groups are seen only by system administrators. They are used to control access to screens and privileges in the different system modules. To grant someone permission to do a thing, simply add them to an access group which has that permission. All of the various permissions of all of the access groups a person belongs to are combined for that person when they log in. Users cannot see, change, or control access groups - they are invisible to normal users.

Code Management

Code Management is seen only by system administrators. Code Management is provided to insure that only consistent and viable information is entered into your program. the system administrators may add, delete or modify any codes used in KeyNET program. All of the information entered into KeyNET must conform to the Codes programmed by the system administrators. Users cannot see, change, or control items under the Code Management section of the program - they are invisible to normal users.

System Copier

Copy Users/System Copier is seen only by system administrators. This area is a powerful tool to be used when MAJOR changes need to be performed within your system.  This feature allows the System Manager to replicate certain information when refining or creating additional database patricians. Users cannot see, or use this section of the program - it is invisible to normal users.
