WHAT
ConnieTM WILL DO?
|
|
Management
Control
Now you can have complete
control over the users
access to the system. |
|
|
Compete
Accountability
You now can know the status
on every key created. The
program tracks the entire
history of the key with
several security checks
along the way. |
|
|
Key Issue
Security
The program checks for
correct authorization before
the key is issued.
|
|
|
Tailored
to YOUR needs
The program can be
customized to fit your
organization. From the very
basic to elaborate
operations |
|
|
Create &
Issue Key Rings
The program can quickly
create and monitor issuance
of key rings. |
|
|
Computerizing Key Cutting
The system allows for manual
or computerized cutting of
keys. |
|
|
Extensive
Reports
Effectively manage your key
program with an extensive
choice of reports.
|
Our key management
program links two important
databases, the PERSON and the KEY,
for total control and
accountability. These critical
databases are dynamically linked to
issue a key.

Modular
Design
|
The Unique
Modular Design of ConnieTM
Advanced Key Management
Software allows you to
control what USERS are
allowed to View, Create,
Use, Edit, Modify and/or
Delete. There are three
modules in the main program
which are used on a routine
basis. There is a fourth
module also in the main
program which is where User
Privileges are Created and
Controlled.

The
SYSTEMS MANAGER
is the controlling module of
the Program.
The
PERSONNEL
module stores the
appropriate information for
individuals to whom Keys or
Cards may be issued.
The
LOCKSHOP
or
SHOP
module stores the
information used by those in
the Lockshop. Information
like bittings, Key ID
numbers, hook numbers, the
number of keys cut, the core
locations where each Key ID
is being used. This area
can also generate and store
Masterkey Systems
information.
The
KEY
ISSUE module
is where the Keys generated
by the Lockshop are ISSUED
to the individuals listed in
the PERSONNEL module. A
complete history is
maintained, and in-depth
reports are created. This
is the module that
establishes and maintains
AUTHORIZATION information,
critical to advanced key
control systems.
Each module
is COLOR coded, so that
users can identify from
which module information is
coming or being displayed.
Subtle but VERY effective.
The Basic System looks
something like this:

A developed
or ADVANCED System may look
something like the one show
below. Because each system
can be CUSTOMIZED to suit
the needs of a particular
customer...each system would
look slightly different.
 |
|
System Manager
-
The
System Manager
matrix administers
which of the other
modules each user
will be allowed to
access.
It also
controls the
functions and
operations each USER
will be permitted to
perform:
VIEW, CREATE,
MODIFY, DELETE
and/or OPERATE.
Then
the System Manager
coordinates how
other modules
function;
independently,
together, or
IN
COMBINATION.
The
System Manager also
controls what
informational data
may be imported
into, or exported
from ConnieTM.
The System
Manager controls each of the
features within the system
and for USERS.
 |
Setting the Systems
Parameters and
Defaults |
 |

Licensing of
Workstations and
Modules |
 |
Controlling each
USERS account. |
 |

settings and CODES. |
 |

INTEGRITY of the
Data Base. |
Personnel -
|
ConnieTM allows it's users to develop their system at any level they desire. Simple systems may be developed with minimal information. The PERSONNEL module provides our customers with a number of options. It is important to realize that there are TWO screens in this Database; Screen1 for routine information, and Screen 2 for Confidential information.
In the personnel module a LAST NAME is linked to an Employee ID and/or a Social Security Number. If your facility does not use Employee ID numbers...ConnieTM will create a unique number for you. Social Security Numbers are not required in the system. However, it is important to note, they are stored on the Confidential Screen which most USERS will not have access too. SSN come in very handy when a person has changed their name (marriage, divorce, or other legal name change). and the name being provided to the Key Issue person is not the name to whom the keys were issued.
Manual data entry starts with this screen:
which may be accessed by individuals who have been granted this permission by their System Manager.
Another powerful aspect of ConnieTM is the ability to perform a ONE-TIME import of this information from your Human Resource or other database. Utilities can be developed by our Data Transfer Team which would allow you to perform you update this information on a routine basis. These utilities are dramatic time savers, and allow for consistent information to be used in all databases.
We also develop utilities for integration of Card Access, Photo ID, and Check-Out databases. |
|
Screen 1 -
Where
routine
operational
information
is stored.

If your
SYSTEM
MANAGER has
allowed you
access to
Confidential
Information,
a User could
click on the
Screen Two
button and
see:

may be
performed by
Name,

SSN or
Department
from this
screen.

Lockshop
-
|
The
Lockshop module
contains items
designed with YOU in
mind. As an
END-USER you will
enjoy the
flexibility of being
able to manually
develop Masterkey
Systems,
Auto-Generate NEW
Masterkey Systems,
and/or have us
import
electronically your
existing Masterkey
Systems.
Maintaining your
Masterkey Hierarchy
is important so that
Key Issue will not
issue multiple
copies of the same
key to the same
person, or issue a
key when the person
already has that
key...or a higher
level key.
 |
You can set
limits on
the number
of keys to
be cut of
each Key
ID.
|
 |
You can see
the status
of each key
(issued or
available)
at Key
Issue.
|
 |
You can cut
your keys
from a
computerized
key machine
from within
the program
(no more
entering the
information
manually on
the keypad). |
 |
You can
track keys
by different
manufacturers,
and cut them
from your
computerized
key machine. |
 |
You can
record the
location of
each
cylinder
core for
each Key
ID. Change
that
information
easily
should you
need to move
the core. |
 |
ConnieTM
reminds you
if you are
about to use
a bitting
that is
already in
use. |
 |
ConnieTM
won't let
you use the
same Key ID
with
different
bittings. |

SFIC Small Format
Interchangeable
Cores.
SFIC
or
Small Format
Interchangeable
Cores is one of the
many modules used in
Connie. In addition
to providing the
Locksmith with all
of the information
about any SFIC key,
Connie will generate
COMPLETE MASTERKEY
SYSTEMS and provide
pinning charts for
each key in a
system. Users can
even rebuild
existing SFIC
systems using the
Key Linking feature
in Connie.

This
feature is
dramatically
improved, becoming
more powerful and
robust when
AUTHORIZATIONS are
enforced. Designed
to accommodate a
wide range of issue
methods,
ConnieTM
is
unique in it's ease
of use and
functionality.
This
module allows you to
solve the REAL WORLD
problems that
constantly pop-up,
like:
 |
Who
AUTHORIZED
the issue of
that key?
|
 |
How many
keys have
been
MADE
or ISSUED?
|
 |
Are we
duplicating
ISSUE
NUMBERS
when
ordering or

|
 |
Can we track

keys? |
 |
Do we have
any

 |
Is it time
to
REKEY? |
 |
Do we know
the
HISTORY
of each key?
|
 |
Do we know
ALL
of the
KEYS
that fit a
location?
|
 |
Do we know
ALL
of the
INDIVIDUALS
who have
access to a

 |
School
districts
where
issuing
is
performed
at
each
site. |
 |
Colleges
and
Universities
where
issuing
is
performed
at
the
department
level
and/or
on
remote
sites. |
 |
Hospitals,
and
Medical
Facilities
where
issuing
may
be
performed
at
remote
clinics
or
satellite
sites. |
|
Multiple Key Issue
(MKI) - is a
powerful add-in
module that creates
an entirely new set
of Hooks for each
MKI site. Keys are
then assigned to
hooks at the MKI
site for issue.
Connie then tracks
where the keys are
located, by MKI site
and hook. Reports
indicate where keys
are available by MKI
site and hook.
Multiple Key Issue
(MKI) is activated
by licensing this
module.
Then
it is a simple
matter of assigning
each MKI location.

When
you LOG IN... the
program will ask you
for your Default MKI
Location. Select
from one of the
locations listed by
double-clicking on
the desired
location.
Lockshop - when
preparing keys or
changing information
pertaining to a MKI
site, simply set
there location to
the MKI location.
Key
Issue - simply set
their location to
the appropriate MKI
location; and
ConnieTM
does the rest.
