What you get with
WorkNETTM
LITE
WorkNET LITE isn't
really a "LITE" product, but instead
is trimmed down version of WorkNET
PRO; just a new way of more finely
controlling and licensing of various
parts of WorkNET. We have taken the
WorkNET PRO product and reconfigured
it so that it can be sold in smaller
sections. Under the new licensing
structure, there are a number of
different thing which can be
licensed separately, and therefore,
priced separately. WorkNET is now
broken down into a number of
"packages," each of which can be
individually enabled or disabled,
via licensing.
The WorkNET
LITE Base - This is the
foundation of the WorkNET system,
and is always required. It includes
basic Work Order Control functions,
including the ability create both
Work Requests and Work Orders,
assign the work to Shops, associate
Cost Center for billings or
chargeback recovery, and the
accumulation of Time and Materials.
WorkNET LITE starts with ZERO
WorkCenters, and each WorkCenter,
when licensed, will allow the
privileged users to enter Time and
Material information.
PEOPLE is part of
the WorkNET LITE BASE - The
personnel module of WorkNET is
always required, since that is how
user accounts are defined. However,
without WorkNET WorkCenters, it is
impossible to let those assigned to
a WorkCenter to enter Time and
Materials, or produce Estimates.
People can be defined, but they
can't have work assigned to
anyone. Only the WorkCenter
licensing allows work to be assigned
to people.
(1) WorkNET
WorkCenters - is a licensable add-on
- This allows work to be
distributed to each WorkCenter
(Shop), and the current status made
available. In WorkNET PRO or Ultra,
this process is performed
electronically, with the actual
assignment of work, together with
the time and material information
being entered by the WorkCenter
(Shop).
(2) WorkNET
WorkCenter Control - is a licensable
add-on - This module allows work
to be coordinated across a number of
WorkCenters, electronically. Work
can be scheduled to provide the
correct sequencing of work and
predicts completion dates.. In
WorkNET PRO or ULTRA, this process
is performed electronically, with
the actual assignment of work,
together with the time and material
information being entered by the
WorkCenter (Shop).
(3) WorkNET
eWorkRequest - is a licensable
add-on - this module allows
users from different sites or
locations to request work. The work
is then routed through a predefined
path for processing and assignment.
Work is assigned to WorkCenters and
is tagged by the appropriate
administrator as "maintenance" or
"chargeback" for billing purposes.
In WorkNET PRO or ULTRA this process
is accomplished electronically, with
the actual assignment of work,
together with the time and material
information being entered by the
actual work requestor.
(4) WorkNET
CostCenter - is a licensable add-on
- this module allows managers
and WorkCenter Supervisors to access
information related to each worker,
WorkCenter, Facility, Site,
Building, department, and manage
their overall budget. The work
information may be retrieved in a
number of ways to aid in the
Budgeting process. Funds may be
encumbered to show accurate
projections of scheduled work in
both maintenance funds and budgeted
funds. In WorkNET PRO or ULTRA this
process is accomplished
electronically, with the actual cost
information being accumulated for
use by managers that are controlling
their budget.
All other options,
as with the WorkNET LITE, are
licensable add-ons, and are
available for purchase.
