What you get with KeyNET ULTRA

KeyNET ULTRA - is Spectrum Groups most inclusive package, and is the ULTIMATE starting point for most industrial and institutional facilities.  This package was designed to provide the most used features for institutions or facilities that need to meet the ADVANCED responsibilities associated with issuing and tracking of keys and other assets.  KeyNET ULTRA is designed to aid in the auditing and control of assets, while meeting the requirements of Governmental Mandates, such as "Right to Know" and "Homeland Security" and other Public Laws.  We have taken our most sought after features and combined them into KeyNET ULTRA.  KeyNET ULTRA has it all.  The only expansion to KeyNET ULTRA which can be made is additional users (has never been needed), additional MKI sites, and customized data sharing utilities.

The KeyNET ULTRA BASE - This is the culmination of the KeyNET system foundation and the typical ADVANCED features used to issue and tracking keys, or other assets.  It includes basic lockshop functions, including the ability to manually define keys, cut keys, and place keys on hooks.  [NOTE; The number of different sets of hooks (MKI), referred to as "Issue Point" is also controllable by license.  So we can allow any number of issue points in the system as part of the Multiple Key Issue (MKI) licensing scheme).  KeyNET ULTRA starts with THREE issue points; and each MKI Issue Point, when licensed, will allow the privileged users to assign hooks at one or more sites.

PEOPLE is part of the KeyNET ULTRA BASE  (25 user licenses are included with KeyNET ULTRA) - The personnel module of KeyNET is always required, since that is how user accounts are defined. 

KEY ISSUE licensing allows keys to be issued to people and  is included with the KeyNET Ultra Package.

(1) KeyNET Computerized KeyCut - this feature is included in all KeyNET deployments -This allows computerized key cutting and stamping machines to be used.  Hardware is required for this feature to function properly, and is not included. 

(2) KeyNET Masterkey System Generators - all listed generators are included with KeyNET ULTRA:

Standard Two Step Progression - This allows the standard 2-Step progression masterkey system batch generator to be available to privileged operators.

Small Format Interchangeable Core (A2) - This allows the SFIC A2 progression masterkey system batch generator to be available to privileged operators.

Small Format Interchangeable Core (A3) - This allows the SFIC A3 progression masterkey system batch generator to be available to privileged operators.

Small Format Interchangeable Core (A4) - This allows the SFIC A4 progression masterkey system batch generator to be available to privileged operators.

Zero = Ten Progression (Sargent) - This allows the 0=10 progression masterkey system batch generator to be available to privileged operators.

Customized Progression (masterkey systems with constants and rotating constant systems) (can also be used for recreating legacy masterkey systems) -- This allows the CUSTOM progression masterkey system batch generator to be available to privileged operators.

 

(3) KeyNET Authorizations - is INCLUDED in KeyNET ULTRA - This allows authorizations to be set up and utilized when issuing keys.  Because authorizations only apply to issuing keys, KeyNET ISSUE is required by, and is a prerequisite for KEYNET Authorizations.

(4) Electronic Key Requests and Authorization Routing - is included with KeyNET ULTRA - This product allows facilities to have Key Requestors AUTO-JOIN, fill in their own information, request keys, and submit the request through the Authorization Routing for approval.  Key Requestors can also check the status of their self generated Key Request, including being notified when keys are available for pickup, or Authorization Denial.  This is a tremendous time saver, reduces redundant data entry, and speeds the entire Key Request process, while insuring that the proper authorizations obtained prior to issuing keys.

(5) Electronic Key Ordering and Authorization Routing - is included with KeyNET ULTRA  -  This product allows facilities to have eKeyOrder to fill in their own information, request keys, and submit the request through the Authorization Routing for approval, accounting and generation..  eKeyOrders can also check the status of their orders, including being notified when keys are available for pickup, delivery.  This is a tremendous time saver, reduces redundant data entry, and speeds the entire Key Request process, while insuring that the proper authorizations obtained prior to issuing keys.  eKeyOrders are designed to work with Multiple Key Issue Points (MKI).  It allows remote Issue Locations to order and maintain a stock of keys.  You can even route the eKeyOrder request through your BILLING department for approval and encumbering of funds.  eKeyOrder will work very well, even without MKI sites, when the Lockshop and Key Issue functions are separate.

(6) Signature Capture - is INCLUDED with KeyNET ULTRA - This allows you to capture and store signatures from electronic key pads to the KeyNET program.  As more and more facilities are struggling with paper record management, and may be mandated to become paperless, KeyNET has provided this add-on as an effective and efficient method of dealing with this issue.

(7) iKeyID - is INCLUDED with KeyNET ULTRA -  iKeyID is designed to allow a user to tag a KIS identification number [used in most modern systems] with a IKID (Individual Key Identification System- older type systems) number which is then known as the iKeyID.  KeyNET users may then use the iKeyID number (same as the old IKID number) as a searchable item.

(8) Photo ID - is INCLUDED with KeyNET ULTRA -  The Photo ID add-on is VERY flexible.  It can be used as a full-blown photo id package.  It can import photos  or interface with other programs,.  It can be used to print badges, ID cards or Card Access systems where encoding is added to a card.

Additional MKI Site Licenses - are licensable add-ons - This allows you add as many Issue Points as is necessary to handle your needs effectively.  Each MKI site is individually licensed, and three sites are included in the KeyNET ULTRA package.  As more and more facilities are struggling with personnel issues, redundant data entry, and the ability to accomplish goals in a reasonable timeframe, KeyNET has provided this add-on as an effective and efficient method of dealing with the situation of Multiple Issue Points.  Three additional users are added for each MKI site.

Card Access - is a licensable add-on -  This add-on is customized for each application.  It works by interfacing or integrating with Card Access System data tables.  Will work for Standalone, Active-online or both types of Card Access systems.  If an exit date is entered into KeyNET or the Card Access program, or the active/inactive status is changed, the same information is shared with the other programs...making them work together, AS ONE.  KeyNET is limitless.  When there are software restrictions with the Card Access Program software, KeyNET can often be used to expand the capabilities of the other program.

People import utility - this utility is automatically included and active when customers use PeopleNET as their HRM software.  A customized version of this import utility can be developed for use with other personnel databases such as Peoplesoft, Office Director or other third party software.  Updates can be made to or from the PeopleNET portion of KeyNET, or other third party databases.

Remote system update utility - SG1 creates customized utilities for sharing information between system databases (card access, alarm, photo id, one card, etc.).  Information sharing is often automated which information being shared as one database is updated, or periodically.
